By RFID TIMES

Nov 23, 2006__The latest mandates form powerhouses like Metro Group, Wal-Mart, the US Department of Defence and Target have led RFID to take an increasingly high profile. It has been observed that initiatives of using RFID has resulted in paying off companies like Wal-Mart. Recent studies have revealed that a lot have manufacturers are still struggling to justify this huge production rollouts of RFID.

Many manufacturers are still skeptical of the technology and are indulging into small pilots to test the technology. The success of these technologies will help see this technology make its place in a lot of industries. The only hurdle in the mass adoption of RFID is the lack of information and misconceptions about the technology. With these issues being resolved the technology will definitely find huge acceptance.
