OATSystems Names New Vice President of Marketing to Head RFID Business

Feb 01,2007_A seasoned software industry executive with more than 20 years of experience, Cataldo has held a variety of senior technical and marketing positions in start-up and later stage organizations, including two of them in retail technology over the past 10 years.


"We are very excited to have Paul join our executive team," said Michael George, president and chief executive officer, OATSystems. "His great strategic mind and lengthy track record both in high-tech software and marketing is a welcome addition. He joins OAT at a critical juncture and we look forward to his expert guidance as we continue to expand operations and rapidly help move customers into full production environments."

Prior to OATSystems, Cataldo served as vice president of marketing for IntelliVid Corporation, a provider of intelligent video analysis solutions for the retail industry. Before that, Cataldo served as the vice president of marketing for DataSage (acquired by Vignette), which provided customer analysis and personalization software to retail and e-commerce enterprises.

In addition, Cataldo has held senior marketing positions with companies such as Borland International (client/server business unit) and SunGard Financial Systems.

"Its strong product offerings are a result of a visionary management team, whose members include early pioneers in RFID technology. Cataldo graduated cum lauded from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst with a bachelor's degree in business.
